Currently and a Giveaway

I love when I figure things out on the computer!  I finally followed the directions from The Teacher's Cauldron to follow Farley's Currently!  I have seen it for months and wasn't sure how to do it until I saw Jen's post last month.  An here I am a month later figuring it out:)  The directions say to copy it into Paint and it took me a bit to find that program!

I am excited to find out we can finally get into our classrooms next Wednesday before officially reporting back on Monday, August 13th.   I have been printing, laminating and cutting things and well as blog stalking and shopping. I don't want to add up my receipts from Target, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Lakeshore and Office Depot!

I am hoping to win a gift certificate over at Simpson's Superstars as she is having a giveaway! Head on over and check it out:)

Hoping for a productive weekend:)

  1. I totally know what you mean about not wanting to add up receipts... I've been putting that off but I know that I need to just do it - like ripping off a bandaid! On your currently - what kind of curtains are you going to have made?! Congrats on figuring out how to complete the currently - yours looks great :)

I need to go back to clothes shopping too, but I have been putting it off because I HATE IT. Nothing ever fits right!

  3. Just found your blog through the Currently Linky & it is so cute !! We go back to school on Monday so I've spent all week getting my classroom ready...and part of that is being scared to add up those receipts. Those Dollar Spot purchases really add up !! I'm your newest follower & would love for you to stop by sometime! :)

  4. Haha!! Printer ink was one of my must haves too.. isn't it amazing how much of our own money we spend in our classrooms. Wouldn't have it any other way, would you!?

  6. I have been meaning to make curtains for my classroom, but don't know if I will have the time!! I might cheat a bit and use that liquid stitch to put it together. :)

  7. I have been wanting some colorful curtains for my room, but I don't think it is going to happen. I am scared to add up my receipts too! I think it is better if I don't know how much I have spent. Glad to be a new follower!
