I {Heart} Organization

I {Heart} Organization!  Yes, I do:)  I am one of THOSE people.  My construction paper is in the order of Roy G. Biv.  I should own stock in Rubbermaid.  Every bin has a label.  On and on it goes.

So when I saw today's linky, I know I had to chime in and search everyone else's posts about organization! So I linked up with Second Grade Shenanigans with Counting Our Blessings and Looking Ahead with Organization.

I even did a post back in August titled For the Love of...Page Protectors!  I love anything that helps me organize.  And even when I think I am organized, I am still looking for a better way!  I think I need a 10 step program.  Hi, my name is Tammy and I have an organization addiction.

BUT, I fall off the wagon  (so to speak) because I have another problem!  I am a "PILER"  I am not sure if that is even a word.  WHY don't I follow through with my organization systems?  I love being organized!  But am embarrassed by my piles, so I get bins and label the piles!  Do you see my problem??

So, this year my resolution is to stop the piles!  Thoughts?  Suggestions?  I think I need a plan.

  2. Hmmm, my only suggestion is to deal with the paper immediately! But we all know that and yet it's still so hard. I feel your pain, my friend:)

  3. Tammy, you and I are two peas in a pod! I am addicted to organizing and labeling. I blame my mother. She taught me to organize and condense at a very young age and I never outgrew it. Thank goodness! Sometimes, I resort to piling, too. It can't be helped, what with all the stuff we have. I think the fact that you label and bin your piles is definitely a step in the right direction. That way, once you have the time, it's easier to put away the piles. So, I'm here to tell you that it's okay to be a piler because you are an organized piler. Nothing wrong with that! Feel better? I hope so!

  6. I am a total "piler"!! I usually try to dedicate about 20 minutes once a week - usually Thursday - to deal with any piles that have built up. It seems to have helped a little, although I still have a long way to go.

  7. I say as long as your piles are neat and tidy and have labels, then pile away my friend ;0) That's probably not helpful, but from one "piler" to another, that's all I've got, haha.
